An alumnus of New York College Of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Carlson became the first student to be awarded an APMAS  (American Podiatric Medical Association), Grant to conduct research on enhancing diagnostic foot x-rays.  This research article was published in 1999.  Following her Doctorate Degree, Dr. Carlson entered her postgraduate training at New York Methodist Hospital, an affiliate of New York Hospital.  Here the emphasis was on advanced surgical training in reconstructive lower extremity procedures.  Subsequently her career has included several successful practices in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island as well as being asked to join the staff at New York Methodist Wound Care Center.Dr. Carlson utilizes the most advanced Podiatric techniques for problematic and preventive care.  Services range from routine Podiatric care for Seniors to treatment of chronic painful conditions in our new state of the art facility.
